The International Aphasia Movement has been offering aphasia groups provide support and speech therapy since 2006.

Our Mission
To empower people who are affected by aphasia to access and negotiate the services and opportunities they need for a better life.

Is difficulty talking, understanding language, reading or writing from: a stroke, aneurysm, head injury, brain tumor or other neurological disorder.

Our Goal
Is to provide free aphasia therapy and up-to-date information about resources for people with aphasia within the five boroughs of New York City. Please let us know if you know of any aphasia resources in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, or Staten Island.
